Christmas Day 2010

Hailey really wanted the doll from the movie Tangled, and Keigan of course cars.

Nathan my boy who loves to play like he is a kitty, had me kiss his new kitty many times those first few days. He carrys that cat everywhere. In fact he is coming down the stairs right now meowing with kitty in tow. LOL!

Time for Christmas Eve 2010 Pictures

Christmas Eve was a busy day for us, especially for Rhett. He started off the day by going out with his dad and help him with a locksmithing job. The house had 14 outside doors! Then we went to Trina's house for lunch and crafts for the kids. Boy was Hailey excited for that.

Rhett left a little early so he could get to the church for the Hayes gathering. ( the Hayes side is so big we have to use the church for Thanksgiving and Christmas) Rhett needed to get a projector put up so we could watch a movie while we ate and to do some of our Christmas story's on it later that night.
After eating (in the Primary Room) we gathered in the Gym to open presents.

Rhett's poor sister Deneece had surgery the day before for endometreosis

More hospital for Rhett

Very early Monday morning Rhett started feeling pain in his stomach. I took him to the Dr. and they drew some blood to make sure it wasn't his kidney being rejected. That came back fine. Yippee! They did an x-ray, that looked fine. They guessed it was just a stomach virus. If he got worse or got a fever they said to come right back in. Well next morning Rhett felt worse. I took him back to the Dr. they checked his blood again and his white blood cell count was high. (meaning there was an infection) and he was sore if you pushed on his stomach. Also they did another x-ray and this one showed some inflammation. They sent us right up to the Rexberg  hospital to see a surgeon. They were not a 100% sure but they believed it was his appendix. He was going to go in with a scope because where they do the normal surgery its right where his new kidney is. The Dr. said if it was not is appendix he would take it out anyways, then look to see if he could find what the real problem was. They wheeled him in 1 hour from when we got to the hospital. They wanted to get him in surgery right away.
It ended up being his appendix. The Dr. said it hadn't erupted, but it was so sick and pussy looking it was as sever as if it had erupted. The Dr. ended up not sending Rhett home the next day like most people, because his white blood cell count was still high and they where wanting to be extra careful that he didn't get an infection in his kidney. He is on heavy duty antibiotics. He ended up staying at the hospital from Tuesday to Friday evening.
He is sore in the belly which is expected. The kids are glad to have him back home. Nathan was his shadow all evening yesterday. We had been invited to his sister Deneece's house for playing games for New Years Eve. Rhett wanted to go, but he ended up feeling to tired and so was I. I was mentally out of it, now that I was out of crisis mode. Both Rhett and I ended up taking a nap.
I know it was our Savior who helped us know to get Rhett in right away. I also know he answered the prayer I said while Rhett was having that 2nd x-ray. I prayed for the Dr.'s to find what was wrong and or send us to  the one that would. I'm positive that he sent us to the right hospital and the right surgeon who would keep his transplant in mind and take extra care of him. I'm also thankful for the priesthood and the healing blessings that Rhett has been able to get. I'm also thankful that I have a father, and father-in-law who can administer to him. Im also very glad that Rhett also holds the power so he can give our kids the comfort and blessings you receive in those prayers.

Snowing Indoors

Did you know that it can snow indoors! I found out yesterday that it can, if your 2 yr old wishes it. My mother-in-law watched Nathan for us while Rhett and I went to I.F. for a doctor appointment.( Hailey and Keigan were at school) We came home to see Nathan asleep by the hall closet with his cute little bum in the air. And also to see that my mother-in-law helped straiten the the kids room and the kitchen for us. What dose this have to do with it snowing in our house you ask? We'll after she had been gone for a while, Nathan spotted my package that I had received a few days ago sitting on the floor by the kitchen table (instead of on top, where I had left it) Nathan couldn't pass up the chance to play with the packing peanuts and of course they flew EVERYWHERE! All over the front room making a trail threw the kitchen to the top of the stairs going down to my room. Instead of freaking out (too much) I decided for us to make snow angels and have a little fun. When all the fun was done the kids, even Nathan, helped pick up most of it. I'll be bringing out the vacuum in a min to get the rest of it.
Thanks to Nana for moving my box onto the floor we were able to have a little Christmas fun indoors. I'll just have to be sure she doesn't see the mess we made after she cleaned. ;)

Christmas Bows

ha ha I just realized that one bow you can barely tell that it has a snowflake as the center piece and that the gree snowman one looks lopsided. Oh well.
This one is my favorite. I like it so much that I'm making another one, and may give it to someone. hmmm

The newest batch of bows

This doesn't include the two Christmas ones that I have just made. Hailey already lost the 1st one I made at by accident. It fell out of her hair at recess, then the next day some girl had the nerve to wear it, and Hailey is too shy to ask for it back. That makes me so mad, I work hard on that bow. We'll my 2nd one turned out really cute too. I'm also going to make a cupcake bow and a princess castle bow for Hailey and one of my nieces who's name we have for Christmas.
