Oh My! She is almost 8!!!!!

I cant believe my baby girl is almost 8! Earlier this month we had a meeting at the church for all the kids that will be getting baptized this year. Hailey was SO excited. She bugged for 2 hours asking if it was time to go yet. I started getting tears in my eyes listening to her and the other almost 8 yrs olds sing the baptism song.
I keep thinking how fast April will get here and about baptizing her in May. I came up with a plan to make her a video with pictures of her growing up for an after the baptism. Im having a hard time thinking of what songs to do. LDS songs or 77, 79,80 or 81 maybe 82 from my song list. What do You think?
I also hope to take her out in April in her baptism dress and get some really pretty pictures to add to the end of the video. Of course she wont know the real reason for the pictures. I hope it will be nice in April cuz I want outside pictures up by BYU-I at the garden that the students make. We took family pictures their and it was a beautiful place.

Fun in the Snow

It's been a little while since I posted something. Its been hard to motivate myself to do much lately. And STUPID Government make it VERY hard on those who really need the help to get it. Looks like I'm going to have to go in front of a judge to get my disability. So many medical things I need. ANYWAYS! Rhett got the idea to go sledding on Saturday. The kids got very excited and they all wanted me to go. We even stopped at Kings to buy Hailey new boots so she wouldn't wear mine so that I could wear them. I was glad that I did go. I took the camera and got some cute photo's. Thats my favorite part of these kind of activities, taking photo's to remember how cute and little my kids where at this time.

We took Hailey's friend Nikkia with us

Rhett threw snow down on the kids as they came climbing back up
Nathan loved getting in on the snowball fight

The kids gained up on Daddy
Keigan didn't want mom to feel left out
                                                          Nathan's cute little foot prints
                                                           Keigan making a snow bunny

Christmas Day 2010

Hailey really wanted the doll from the movie Tangled, and Keigan of course cars.

Nathan my boy who loves to play like he is a kitty, had me kiss his new kitty many times those first few days. He carrys that cat everywhere. In fact he is coming down the stairs right now meowing with kitty in tow. LOL!

Time for Christmas Eve 2010 Pictures

Christmas Eve was a busy day for us, especially for Rhett. He started off the day by going out with his dad and help him with a locksmithing job. The house had 14 outside doors! Then we went to Trina's house for lunch and crafts for the kids. Boy was Hailey excited for that.

Rhett left a little early so he could get to the church for the Hayes gathering. ( the Hayes side is so big we have to use the church for Thanksgiving and Christmas) Rhett needed to get a projector put up so we could watch a movie while we ate and to do some of our Christmas story's on it later that night.
After eating (in the Primary Room) we gathered in the Gym to open presents.

Rhett's poor sister Deneece had surgery the day before for endometreosis

More hospital for Rhett

Very early Monday morning Rhett started feeling pain in his stomach. I took him to the Dr. and they drew some blood to make sure it wasn't his kidney being rejected. That came back fine. Yippee! They did an x-ray, that looked fine. They guessed it was just a stomach virus. If he got worse or got a fever they said to come right back in. Well next morning Rhett felt worse. I took him back to the Dr. they checked his blood again and his white blood cell count was high. (meaning there was an infection) and he was sore if you pushed on his stomach. Also they did another x-ray and this one showed some inflammation. They sent us right up to the Rexberg  hospital to see a surgeon. They were not a 100% sure but they believed it was his appendix. He was going to go in with a scope because where they do the normal surgery its right where his new kidney is. The Dr. said if it was not is appendix he would take it out anyways, then look to see if he could find what the real problem was. They wheeled him in 1 hour from when we got to the hospital. They wanted to get him in surgery right away.
It ended up being his appendix. The Dr. said it hadn't erupted, but it was so sick and pussy looking it was as sever as if it had erupted. The Dr. ended up not sending Rhett home the next day like most people, because his white blood cell count was still high and they where wanting to be extra careful that he didn't get an infection in his kidney. He is on heavy duty antibiotics. He ended up staying at the hospital from Tuesday to Friday evening.
He is sore in the belly which is expected. The kids are glad to have him back home. Nathan was his shadow all evening yesterday. We had been invited to his sister Deneece's house for playing games for New Years Eve. Rhett wanted to go, but he ended up feeling to tired and so was I. I was mentally out of it, now that I was out of crisis mode. Both Rhett and I ended up taking a nap.
I know it was our Savior who helped us know to get Rhett in right away. I also know he answered the prayer I said while Rhett was having that 2nd x-ray. I prayed for the Dr.'s to find what was wrong and or send us to  the one that would. I'm positive that he sent us to the right hospital and the right surgeon who would keep his transplant in mind and take extra care of him. I'm also thankful for the priesthood and the healing blessings that Rhett has been able to get. I'm also thankful that I have a father, and father-in-law who can administer to him. Im also very glad that Rhett also holds the power so he can give our kids the comfort and blessings you receive in those prayers.
